A Reflection After a Really Good Reading
I had someone come over this evening for a one-on-one reading, and when they left I just sat for a minute and noticed how good it felt — calm, clear, grounded, complete.
Not buzzy. Not draining. Not performative.
What I’m realizing is that this is becoming my signature way of working.
My readings aren’t about predicting the future or telling someone what to do. They’re about helping people see themselves clearly — using archetypes, cards, astrology, and conversation as mirrors. I guide people inward, back to their own wisdom, instead of positioning myself as an authority over their life.
We start with the bigger picture — what’s happening collectively, what season we’re in energetically — and then look at personal themes and patterns. From there, the symbols do what symbols do best: they help people tell the truth to themselves in a way that feels safe and honest. Shadow work comes in gently, and empowerment always follows.
A big part of my work is helping people shift from “What’s wrong with me?” to “Is this actually aligned?”
Especially around love, rejection, and those painful “nice person, but…” moments that can quietly erode self-worth.
What felt especially good tonight was noticing that I stayed fully present, fully boundaried, and fully myself. I noticed the time, named it out loud, and consciously chose to finish the arc of the reading — not from obligation, but because it felt complete to do so. That kind of choice feels very different than overextending, and my body knew the difference.
I left the session feeling energized, peaceful, and deeply affirmed that this work — done this way — is aligned for me.
So if you’ve ever wondered what a reading with me is like:
it’s reflective, grounding, ethical, and centered on your own inner authority.
I don’t give answers you have to outsource yourself to.
I help you listen to what’s already there.
Grateful tonight.
