Declaration of the Evolving Witch.

I am not a witch because I wear black, light candles, or say the perfect words.
I am a witch because I remember.

I remember that the Divine is too vast to fit in names.
Too wild to be tamed by dogma.
Too loving to demand only one path to truth.

I remember that fire lives in my belly,
that water flows through my tears,
that air carries my voice,
and that earth holds me when I forget who I am.

I honor god and goddess as sacred symbols,
not because they are the only face of the Divine,
but because they have walked beside me on this path of Becoming.
I honor them as mirrors—not masters.

My magick may not be theatrical.
It may not look like spells from storybooks.
But it is real.

It is in my breath when I pause instead of react.
In my body when I stretch and listen.
In my voice when I speak truth with kindness.
In my spirit when I turn pain into purpose.

I am not here to perform a role.
I am here to live a life of resonance and reverence.
To walk with integrity.
To evolve in public if I must, and in private when I need.

I may never be in total control of myself—
but I will always return to conscious relationship with myself.
That is my practice.
That is my power.

This is my witchcraft:
Emotional alchemy.
Truth-telling.
Devotion without distortion.

I am not here to pretend.
I am here to become.
